Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was as Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for the Best Actress in an Supporting Role. She also won two SAG Awards.
She was born and raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna observed as her mom Anne was in the church stage. The passion for performing and theater began when she was a little girl.
Fischer is an actress with theater training. She starred in the Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.

The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads within its first two-years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year in January 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends there. This memoir is about their relationship and working together on The Office.
